Bo or Carrie?

I've stated very publically many times that I don't care who wins American Idol this year.

If you ask me the show's been really really boring.

The finals were boring too. Ballads all around except for the one good song that Bo already sang before. Even more boring than last years finals.

Logging my opinion as "For Bo" but I didn't vote. Hell, I wasn't even awake. I recorded it and watched it later.

Me.

The problem is that we all know Simon's generally right. And we all know they all get record contracts anyway. Takes the fire out of it. My obsession is ended.

Maybe they'll change the rules next year and shake things up again.

Only a few more season finales to go before there's no TV.

I may have felt differently....

My original pick from the very beginning was Anwar. If Anwar had made it to the finals I might just be all into it, because I would have had some personal stake in the outcome, because he was the only one I was really backing from the beginning.

But he didn't.

So we've got Bo and Carrie now. No surprises.
I like them both OK and I don't care who wins.

And they'll both get recording contracts and I suspect have some success at least for the next year or so while they're still hot.

I jumped off Anwar's bandwagon a couple of weeks before he got the big boot. Mostly because he wasn't as good as I'd originally suspected he would be.

I jumped onto Constantine's instead. Because he had something I hadn't expected.

But they're both gone now so who cares?

Bo or Carrie...... Does it matter?

Would it matter if it was any of the other contestants?
Maybe if it was FEDEROV because I'd clearly be polarized in the direction of the other.

I didn't even hate Scott enough to be able to say I'd want whoever was up against him to win.

I think this season was *boring* because they were all good looking nice people with good singing voices.

Next year they need to go back to basics. Season 2 rocked because they picked regular people. Everyone was weird looking or off in some way. I'd like them to choose 12 random people. I think that'd make better TV.

Prediction:Bo kicks asses on the finale show and wins

Bo goes on to sing sensitive love ballads and fills concert halls with screaming women
Ends up doing lots of drugs to dull the pain of having sold out

Carrie has a country pop hit and then is mostly forgotten about
Ends up putting out Christian music CDs till she dies of old age

American Idol does one more season.
It's even duller than this one and the ratings drop so low the network doesn't bother to try an AI6

Dawn finds a new hobby.

I meant Vonzell and then Bo meaning Bo ABOVE Vonzell as my faves..... really. I was thinking backwards like the order people get voted off. But the top 3 is great and I can't argue with any of them winning this thing. I think Vonzell's vocals weren't as perfect as Carrie & Bo's tonight but then she did much harder songs too. Surely you should get points for difficulty. This is the most boring AI yet and I fear this may be the end of Idol, simply because without the crappy ones sneaking into the top I have no reason to prefer one contestant over the other, and therefore no reason to care very much about the outcome, or even watch the finale. Certainly no reason to vote because I'll be happy with any outcome. Suddenly I have use for FEDEROV and I wish Mikalah and Constantine had made it much further.

This Ain't Miss America.......

Okay soo last night I finally saw what everyone sees in Carrie. That Elvis number was truly awesome. That's what Lisa Marie should be but isn't.

You know the drill.... I think FEDEROV should go home... but he won't.

I don't think Vonzell did nearly as badly as Simon thought, but he's right she's the vulnerable one this week. Don't ask me why people vote for FEDEROV and Scott, but they do. And Scott did good this week.

Vonzell and Bo are my faves right this minute in that order.
Subject to change depending on who does what next week.

So this "Fallen Idol" expose special thingy that's supposed to blow the whole world of AI apart.....

Who ever said this was supposed to be some sort of fair talent competition?
It's a TV show....... Not Miss America.

There are no rules being violated if the judges sleep with the contestants.
It's a TV show... There are no rules to voilate...

Besides, Paula's alleged "help" landed Cory kicked off the show at #11.
Didn't even get to do the tour.

Perhaps he'd have done better without Paula's help.
